[Maine-NPs] MNPA 2007 Elections

Dear Nurse Practitioner Colleagues:

 

Susan Doughty MNPA's Member at Large has reminded me that she will be
completing her two year term on the Executive Board in May. Susan has broken
all records with the amount of money raised for the 2006 Silent Auction that
we hold at the annual conference. The monies from the Silent Auction
provided student scholarships for 10 first time NP students to attend the
annual MNPA Conference.   This board position is a "do good" position. You
raise money for scholarships, meet the students and introduce them to the
membership. You need to have skills begging the membership, vendors,
craftspeople, friends who offer services, have vacation homes in exotic
locations, teach knitting, have wine cellars, cook or who are authors to
support the Silent Auction with their donations.
