This course is specifically designed to enhance current knowledge 
about prevention,
intervention and management of cardiovascular disease.  Presentations 
will provide
Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physicians, and Physician Assistants, 
with evidence-
based approaches to abnormal findings and information regarding new 
cutting edge
technologies.  Lectures will address new insights in managing cardiovascular
diseases in the diabetic patient, practical applications of 
cardiovascular imaging,
therapeutic treatment options for atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
