[NP-Clinical] Homocystene query

You'll likely recall my B12 deficiency pt.  I read up and added on the
homocystene (elevated) and methylmelanic acid (still pending).  Per my
reading, the elevation of one or both of these markers confirms B12
deficiency.
What is does NOT say, and I couldn't find info for, was whether these folks
should also supplement with folic acid to lower the homocysteine?  It would
make intuitive sense to me but wondered if any of you know the answer?
