I have a Palm TX. I'm thrilled with it. I can see the screen. I have plenty of memory. It's fast enough. I'm happy

I know you specified free but here are some other resources also.

 This PDA download is free
 http://www.geriatricsatyourfingertips.org/front-back/toc.asp and a nice
resource if you're new to LTC/SNF.

When I was in that setting, I used both Epocrates Suite (not free but
useful) and Lexi-Comp drug program. The thing with the Lexi-Comp program
is that you can configure it for elderly doses. Here is the coupon code
 for a 15% discount 9EMPM.

I like Epocrates Essentials best for the overall program/suite. The drug
interaction program is much easier to use as is the creatinine clearance
calculation. Lexi has the geriatric drug doses plus you can also figure
the adjusted body weight for obese individuals and thus an accurate
creatinine clearance. Epocrates doesn't do the ABW and the doses for
elders are not included at all. If Epocrates incorporated these two
things, it would be perfect. Unless you need a coder, the Deluxe is
unnecessary, Essentials is quite useful for the Infectious Disease
program and the herbals information since many elders do take herbals
 that interact with their meds.

 Hope this helps,

 Maggie
