[NP-Clinical] Beautiful prayer

Well, let's see... I said "please", "thank you", and gave her "due respect"
for her own beliefs. not sure how I could have actually been MORE polite
<G>. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a nurse for goodness
sakes-it's far wider and more global than that. as HUMAN BEINGS we should
all be culturally sensitive to differences in personal religious beliefs and
not be ethnocentric in thinking everyone shares our own.

How do I unsubscribe from this list? I thought Dena's response as a nurse
was very insensitive, irregardless of what her personal beliefs are. As a
professional, we are required to be therapeutic in ALL our interactions in
cluding our interactions with our peers. There was a nicer way to politely
say what needed to be said.

I'm sorry, I realize you're new to the list but, with all due respect, can
you please keep prayers off this professional list-serve? Not all of us
believe in Saints, statues, or even God and this is not the venue to discuss
or debate the issue. Thank you

Good Morning Everyone,
I received an email and I thought about Kim and her husband. Saint Theresa
is known as the Saint of Little Ways because she believed in doing the
little things in life well and with great love. She is represented by
roses. May everyone who receives this message be blessed. There is nothing
attached. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. I am praying
for you and your husband Kim and everyone else be blessed.
St. Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly
where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May
you use those gifts that you have received
and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing
you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to
sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us. Amen
