[NP-Clinical] Beautiful prayer

Hold on-- holy crap-- no where did I even state my OWN religous beliefs (or lack thereof). And that's for a good reason-- it's no one's business on this list what my religous beliefs (or lack of) are. So, please don't assume any of you know WHAT they are or whether you agree or disagree with them! I could be a nun writing from a convent, I could be an Islamic fundamentalist writing from a cave in Afganhanistan, I could be a Buddist monk writing from a Chinese prison, I could be a born-again writing from a soapbox on a busy street corner, I could be writing in a trance from a spirtual retreat, I could be writing as I'm dancing naked around a fire in a forest praying to the supreme Goddess. You don't know... and does it make any difference on this PROFESSIONAL listserve who I'm praying to or not praying to? That's the point I'm trying to make... I certainly wasn't putting my OWN beliefs out there in public as I was asking someone else NOT to do the same <G>.

(okay-- I confess that I'm NOT a nun writing from a convent....)

????? Please sign your posts. It makes it easier to address you in a professional manner.
I do not feel Dena was rude in her comments. She deferred to the writers views, but gave her opinion on the validity of those statements in the venue they were presented. Please dont be offended. I do not agree with Denas religious beliefs ( or lack of), but I understand her position and I would have to agree that this venue is no place for such comments. Sending a private message to the intended recipient would have been more appropriate.

How do I unsubscribe from this list? I thought Dena's response as a nurse was very insensitive, irregardless of what her personal beliefs are. As a professional, we are required to be therapeutic in ALL our interactions in cluding our interactions with our peers. There was a nicer way to politely say what needed to be said.

I'm sorry, I realize you're new to the list but, with all due respect, can you please keep prayers off this professional list-serve? Not all of us believe in Saints, statues, or even God and this is not the venue to discuss or debate the issue. Thank you

Good Morning Everyone,
I received an email and I thought about Kim and her husband. Saint Theresa is known as the Saint of Little Ways because she believed in doing the little things in life well and with great love. She is represented by roses. May everyone who receives this message be blessed. There is nothing attached. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. I am praying for you and your husband Kim and everyone else be blessed.
St. Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received
and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us. Amen
