[NP-Clinical] Beautiful prayer

Don’t worry, Kim .. . this had nothing to do with you and please don’t go
there. . . you have enough on your plate. This was over a specific generic
novena. As Dena so well explained. Andy’s link added some levity so hope
you can feel that and nothing but support and hugs from your cyber buddies.

I sure hope Mark is on the mend. I’ve thought of you often!

Hang in there .. .

Priscilla

Well, gee, I suppose that one would say that I could take the blame for the
prayer being offered, if one revisits my 7/31 post when I asked for them in
my last sentence.

I fully understand what Dena is saying, nor did I mean to offend anyone who
may not subscribe to certain beliefs (which, I did not mention my own, BTW).
Professional listservs are certainly not the place for these type of
discussions overall.

That said, I did not take offense (on a personal level) to Patricia's email.
Perhaps it would have been more "politically or socially correct" to send it
privately, yes. But I appreciate the good wishes from those who have
emailed me, nonetheless.

I agree with Andy...we have had flare-ups about this topic (and others) in
the past, and I will admit, I DID hesitate to ask for ANYONE'S prayers based
on those prior flare-ups. However, I have also seen these type of comments
posted to Christine, during her grieving time, and Priscilla, dealing with
her mother, and a few others, that mentioned others' prayers and
well-wishes. I don't know as though we can "pick-and-choose" when it is
appropriate to mention "thoughts and prayers" or not.

So if my post inflames things more, then I am sorry. That certainly is not
my intent; I have more pressing issues to deal with concerning Mark and my
family. I hope that this is the END of this discussion, and my apologies to
anyone who construes it as such. And since apparently it is NOT
appropriate, I shall never mention it again. :)
