[NP-Clinical] Beautiful prayer

Let it go and get over it...all of us!
We have young men and women dying in Iraq, people with cancer and other
horrid diseases dying while in our care...nothing we can do can fix them,
chronic diseases making lives miserable, child abuse, elder abuse, sexual
abuse of all sorts, murder, mayhem....if a simple prayer makes someone feel
a bit better....let them have the moment and let it go...
Delete button, delete button, delete button
Pick your battles.
I say this is a tempest in a teapot.

On most listserves I subscribe to (could be about sewing or anything)
there are always people posting messages like this form time to time:
prayers, "send this to everyone you know" type info, messages the
sender finds inspirational, and other information which is not really
relevant to the focus of the list. Usually that sort of posting is
discouraged, and if the listserve has rules, is usually against the
rules. This listserve doesn't have rules or a moderator, but I think
it's a good idea to follow the example of the lists that do. What's
been going on with this thread is a good example of why.
Patricia T could have simply sent her message directly to Kim,
instead of posting it to the list. Nobody could deny it was kindly
meant. She's assuming that Kim finds the concepts of God, faith, and
the soul meaningful. Not everyone does.
As for tudorancea at earthlink.net, announcing you are unsubscribing
from the list in protest seems kind of like lame, especially since no
one knows who you are or cares if you leave.
Nyaaaah! I'm in a bad mood today.
