I am new to this np-clinical and this is my first time posting. I went to
the translator and typed somethings in English that would be usual to a
clinical setting and asked that it be translated into Spanish (my native
language) It was ok but got lost in simple syntax. For example, I typed in
English "When did your last period begin?" The translation did have period
and begin but the rest was jumbled and the syntax was incorrect.

I know how difficult it is to provide correct information to limited English
Speakers. An intrepreter is the best way. Be careful with on-line
translation and don't be suprised if the patient still does not understand.
