[NP-Clinical] Hb A1c question

OKyou endo folks.  Just had a conversation with one of the endos I work with and we have questions that we haven't been able to find answers to.
   
  In whom do you not trust the A1c and use fructosamine instead?  I've been told people on epo but we differed on that.  What about people with low hemoglobins in general?  Would that falsely elevate or decrease the A1c?  What do you do???
