I bought one about 5 years ago for a clinic I worked in... and, since I purchased it with my own money, I took it with me when I left <G>. I believe I just did an internet search for the item and purchased it on-line.

I heard about these and think I want to get one to use on my 4 year old, Gracie--she has bad wax, we get marginal results from drops and bulb syringe irrigation, and she's mostly intolerant of scooping it out with a plastic ear curette. I don't have a water pik (I have thought about getting one for this, though!) but I did try once a tip from Bionix (same people who make the curettes); it was supposed to fit onto a waterpik or a syringe and work like the Welch Allyn--I tried it with the syringe, and didn't really get anywere. so I'm ready to try the elephant ear if you think it would be better than using a water pik in my muchkin's ears! Where do you get them from?

We use a device called an Elephant ear for irrigating. Basically it's a big Windex bottle with a catheter on the end. Much easier than the syringe and less risky than the water pick. Someone on this list years ago turned us onto it and it's worked great.
