I could be mistaken, but I thought that up to 50% of continuing education credits could be from other appropriate sources and that at least 50% had to be approved by ANCC. I know, I could go to the website to be sure instead of surmising..

The company I work for had the PAs and NPs complete CMEs from Emergency Medicine Practice online. I just found out Emergency Medicine Practice does not provide CEUs for NPs. For the past 6 months I have competed 92 CEMs credits and now I get no credit for them. Oh well, it was wonderful information.

Does anyone know of online NP, CEUs which are evidence based and related to various fields? Emergency Medicine, Family Practice? The material must be approved by the ANCC and AANP. The PAs in our group are going to continue with Emergency Medicine Practice for CMEs. Emergency Medicine Practice has wonderful material however if I can not get CEUs - I really do not want to continue reading and taking tests, even if the material is helpful. The company I work for allows so much money each year for continuing education, I really would like to spend it on CEUs and not CMEs.

Peg, does your company have anything like this?

  Thanks All
