Hang in there both Julie and Pris,
I remember a very scarey time with my son who was then about 14. He had a
parotid neck mass and the frozen section was ok, but the next day the
surgeon gave us the news that the pathologists couldn't agree. We live in
Iowa and so the specimen was sent to University of Iowa Hospital and they
couldn't agree there. Finally it was sent to California and it came back as
florid hyperplasia. The worry was lymphoma. It took a month to get the final
conclusion. He is now 37 and doing well, so I guess they were right.
Sometimes it is just not that cut and dried. Good luck. May you also have
good news.
Marilyn Dean

Thanks -- I really like that! We found out we have another week of
waiting for results since it’s gone to Calif. Will post an update but
thanks again to all for the love, support and prayers. They mean so much.
And remembering you in my prayers too Julie. You rule!

  Hugs, Priscilla

  Priscilla, dear.

I know nothing about neck masses that could be of use. I'll pass on the
great advice I got tho for just these kinds of times:

No news is never as good or as bad as it seems.

  Love,

  Julie
