Pat:

Keep a photocopy of EVERYTHING you send to the ANCC - checks, application forms, etc. It can save you a lot of grief.

When I took the American Holistic Nurses Association certification exam, the testing center address was listed as my local airport. Apparently the FAA uses the same computerized testing centers. So I took the test on a computer at a small flight school at our airport. There were planes taking off and landing throughout the entire exam. It was noisy as hell and I had difficulty concentrating, but luckily I passed.
