Subject: [NP-Clinical] bone isoenzymes
A quick question while I am at work, I will research more later..
82 year old with known elevated Alk Phos (usually in the 160-180 range) -
isoenzymes have always shown high number in the liver portion. At last
check the total alk phos raised to 325 and the "BONE" portion of the
isoenzymes has now doubled. Significance.further testing?? She is
currently being worked up for a colon mass highly suspect for cancer.
Thanks much!
Rebecca
