[NP-Clinical] VENETIAN VIOLET - ORAL ULCERS

This post really gave me the blues. Or Purples. Actually, it was the
funniest thing I've read in ages and think you should submit it with
pictures to a journal for a quick couple of bucks.
You must've been "dyeing" to see this patient. They could play "Purple Rain"
for her (yes, someday her Prince will come)
The Circum-MORAL of this story is . .. well, that's a horse of a different
color.
Point of order: Isn't Verruca (never got the Warty innuendo to her name and
I always thought it was Barruca?) the little brat/Bad Egg while Violet
(forget her last name) turned into the big purple ball? I'll take my
Loompas if I'm wrong. Did she get the stuff on her snozzberry?
You already got a great reply to use vodka. And of course, pun intended as
usual, there's the TINCTURE of time and should be normal by Sunday.

Hi,

Saw a 7yo Latina tonight who I saw two days ago for viral syndrome with some
tongue ulcers. Grandmother opted to try and put Venetian Violet on them at
home toda. Kid fought like hell and wound up looking like Verruca Salt on
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The kids teeth - every single one are
deep purple, lips, tongue, all around mouth, nose. chin. and splashes to
cheeks and neck.

Actually quite funny to me but then I am not the parent of this poor kid
that is doing her first communion on Sunday and will be sticking out a deep
purple tongue at the priest. Ulcers themselves do not seem to be too bad.
Child well hydrated.

Mother is hysterical about her purple kid. Any ideas on how to get this off
the skin. From my internet search, it says this is used in tattoos too so I
am a bit concerned.
