Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Mechanical Circulatory 
Support Devices
Mayo Clinic

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a full-time Nurse 
Practitioner or Physician Assistant
to provide case management for adult patients on mechanical 
circulatory support devices.
You'll design, implement and maintain research protocols; provide 
clinical and technical
support, including evaluating clinical and technical problems and 
developing solutions;
develop educational materials and provide patient, staff and 
community education; collect and
manage data; develop critical pathways for MCSD protocols; support 
patient transport; assist
MCSD implantation; report patient status changes; and demonstrate 
compassionate behavior
in all cases.

This resourceful candidate is master's-prepared and ACNP, ANP, or 
FNP-certified (or eligible)
by an agency recognized by the MN Board of Nursing or a graduate of a 
CAAHEP-accredited
PA program and certified (or eligible) by NCCPA, PA registration or 
MN RN licensure. You'll
also need strong motivation; BLS and ACLS certifications, eligibility 
for DEA registration;
demonstrated mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency; effective 
public relations skills;
and the ability to evaluate technical and clinical problems in 
life-and-death situations, prioritize
and organize workflow, handle intense activity over long periods of 
time, and work with minimal
supervision. 2 years' acute care experience with patients on MCSD is 
preferred.
