SUMMARY: Provides medical services and/or medical consultation within 
the scope of an
ARNP license in collaboration with the medical team. Provides 
clinical evaluation and urgent
care assessment, treatment and/or referral for occupational and 
non-occupational medical
conditions. Determines fitness for duty, functional capacity, and 
medical restrictions for
employees in relationship to job demands, and provides assessment and 
consultation on
accommodation and placement issues, nper-forms health surveillance 
examinations and
provides consultation on health-related issues and policies. 
Understands relationship
between workplace injuries, exposures and disease. Knowledge of OSHA 
record-keeping;
Washington State and Federal Workers compensation systems, evaluate 
workplace activities
and essential job functions and their interactions with illnesses, 
injuries and exposures.
Advise/recommend specific strategies for pre-vention. Demonstrate 
effective team and
communication skills. Demonstrate effective customer service and 
problem resolution skills.
Includes on site evaluation and care, telephone triage and 
urgent-emergent response. Use
prescriptive authority for ordering medications, treatments, 
therapies and diagnostics. Provide
coordination within GHC continuum of care and collaboration with 
hospital, primary care,
specialty, etc. Provide education and counsel for patient and 
employer re: medical care and
treatment options and time loss. Participates in quality improvement 
efforts within GHC,
working to develop and manage processes to support overall clinical 
practice, and weekly
case review meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of accredited ARNP/MSN program. ACLS, 
Occasional heavy lifting.
Ability to lift 30 pounds. Strong customer service skills. 
Intermediate computer skills. Excellent
communication (written and verbal) skills. 2 yrs minimum recent 
occupational health clinical
setting preferred. Problem solving, good computer & organization 
skills and critical thinking
skills.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSURES: Current WA St RN and ARNP licenses/with prescriptive
authority.
