Director of Health and Wellness Center
(Search Extended)

Broome Community College seeks to fill the position of Director of 
the Health and Wellness
Center, effective September 4, 2006. Reporting to the Vice President 
for Student Affairs
(VPSA) the Director is primarily responsible for overall operation of 
the health service program,
for all short, intermediate and long-range planning for the health 
services program. The
Director provides and/or supervises limited health-care and limited 
emergency-care for
students and other campus personnel. In addition, the Director 
coordinates the delivery of
health services/educational programming related to mandated state and 
federal programs
(including MMR, meningitis, Drug & Alcohol, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens 
Guidelines) for
students and other campus members.

Bachelor of Science in nursing, graduate of an advanced nursing 
program (Nurse Practitioner),
and license to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner 
in New York State
required. Master's degree in a related field of study preferred. 
Three to five years of experience
in the delivery of health-care provision as a Nurse Practitioner, and 
administration in a
health-care setting required. Experience in program development and 
fiscal responsibilities
preferred. Salary minimum is $53,243.
