Michigan - Geriatric Nurse Practitioner

Metro Health and Care Resources are currently seeking an experienced 
Nurse Practitioner to
join PACE (Program for All inclusive Care of the Elderly). The 
provider will work collaboratively
with an interdisciplinary team to provide primary care to our elderly 
patients. The provider will
develop and assess care plans, provide direct patient care, make 
independent decisions
about nursing needs and interdependent decisions with physicians 
regarding health
regimens. Adaptability and flexibility are required as this new 
program unfolds. This is a
full time opportunity with some call requirement. May require some 
travel to various settings.

Qualifications include: Current NP licensure and certification in the 
state of Michigan; current
Michigan Advanced Prescriber license and DEA registration required. 
Minimum of one year
recent clinical nursing experience with a frail elderly population 
required. Specific geriatric
training is desirable.
