INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY

TITLE/RANK: Assistant/Associate Professor Full-time Tenure Track 
positions, medical-
surgical/nursing administration, maternal-newborn, child health and 
advanced practice
nursing.

DEPARTMENT: Baccalaureate and Higher Degree Nursing

DESCRIPTION: Expectation of classroom, distance education, and 
clinical teaching in
NLNAC accredited baccalaureate and graduate programs. Faculty is 
expected to participate in
scholarly activities and service to Indiana State University, the 
College of Nursing and the
profession.

QUALIFICATIONS: PhD or equivalent degree in Nursing or related field 
and Masters Degree
required, one or both must be in nursing. Will consider ABD. 
Eligibility for licensure in Indiana.
Advanced Practice position requires national certification. 
Demonstrated commitment to
excellence in teaching and current clinical competence required.

ABOUT UNIVERSITY AND COLLEGE OF NURSING: Indiana State University is 
a publicly
assisted institution of higher learning. The College of Nursing has 
over 800 students. The
College offers a four year generic baccalaureate degree program with 
a track for licensed
practical nurses (LPN-BSN) and a track for registered nurses (RN-BSN) 
and a Masters
Degree program with clinical tracks for Nursing Administration and 
Family Nurse Practitioner.
The College of Nursing has an extensive distance education program at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels.
