Remember the Alamo! Texas is a great state with a fascinating 
history. Bring your horse and
explore all of its beauty and wide open spaces (not to mention the 
barbecue). Area is southern
TX, on the coast. Experienced NP needed for solo small volume 
critical access community
hospital. Approximately 200-250 patients are seen monthly in this 
smaller, level 4, ER.
Currently staffed by local MDs, a transition to NP care in the ER is 
underway. Candidates
should be comfortable with laceration repair and other ER procedures, 
as well as stabilizing,
and transporting critical patients with assistance of local MD. No 
weekends or call, state
benefit package, but employed by hospital, salary range $75-90K range 
which is excellent for
this area.
