Eden Medical Center is a 367-bed, not-for-profit medical center with 
approximately 1,900
employees at our two campuses. The Eden Campus in scenic Castro 
Valley includes Eden
Medical Center, Laurel Grove Acute Rehabilitation Hospital and 
Baywood Court Skilled
Nursing Facility. Eden is home to the regional Level II Trauma Center 
for Southern Alameda
County, the Sutter East Bay Neuroscience Center, adult psychiatry, a 
wide range of
rehabilitation services, a Community Cancer Center, advanced imaging 
services and
complete surgical and acute-care services.

non-profit hospitals and care centers in Northern California and is 
linked to nearly 30 acute

In this exciting new opportunity, you will partner with the Director 
of Employee Occupational
Health and Department Managers to establish and maintain an 
Occupational Health
Department dedicated to world-class Employee Health services, safety 
& infection control
education, management of Workers' Comp and employee accommodations, 
and creation of
JCAHO-compliant policies and procedures. This is a new position at 
Eden Medical Center and
lends itself to a Nurse Practitioner that enjoys creating programs, 
working independently and
collaborating with a management team.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a graduate of an 
accredited school of nursing and
graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner programs as an adult or 
family nurse practitioner.
A Master's degree is preferred. Current NP licensure and BLS/CPR 
certification required.

Experience in an Employee Health or Occupational Health setting as RN 
or NP. Experience
working with blood borne exposures and tuberculosis prevention 
preferred. Knowledge of
Worker's Compensation case management desirable.

Counseling and teaching skills, excellent communication, 
prioritization and customer service
skills, immunizations/injections skills. Must be able to work 
independently without direct
supervision. Knowledge of word processing and basic clerical skills.

Experience developing policies and procedures. Experience interacting 
with and chairing
hospital committees. History of working with multi-campus 
organization is desirable.
Outpatient clinical experience preferred.
