Nurse Practitioner needed for clinical and research use of 
state-of-the-art External
Counterpulsation (ECP or EECP) treatment of patients with cardiac 
disease (Angina, CHF)
and CNS disorders (Early Dementia, Post-Stroke Paralysis, Acute 
Blindness and Deafness),
using the Angionew V and Hemagain ECP devices.

Responsibilities will include:
- administering ECP treatment and collecting data in a private office 
in addition to various
sites, including NYU-affiliated hospitals and other rehabilitation centers
- interacting with members of the Brain Research Unit at NYU
- involvement in training of other nurses in the use of ECP
- attending specialty society meetings and participate in the 
marketing and demonstrations of
the ECP devices.

NP must be articulate, organized, friendly, warm, computer literate, 
ACPR experience working
with cardiac patients and preferable neuro as well. At least one year 
experience as a NP a
