Trauma ICU - Metropolitan Arizona

National Medical Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a 
Trauma ICU in metropolitan
Arizona. Currently this ICU has 4 NP's on service as well as 6 Trauma 
Intensevists.
Experienced or New Graduate FNP provider (with strong critical care 
or med/surg
Background) will be considered. Admissions generally run about 
200/mo. With 40-50
patients on service at any given time. Schedule will be M-F, 4-10hr. 
day shifts and one
weekend (10 hr. day shift) per month. Responsibilities include: 
Medical, Wound, and Pain
Management; coordinating discharge planning and outcomes management. 
Patients include
Neuro, General Surgical, Ortho, CV and General Trauma. Ability to 
place Central Lines and
Chest Tubes is helpful but not required. This is a teaching facility 
and there will be a certain
amount of working with residents. Chemistry is a key factor in this 
position - good work ethic
and positive personality is required (drivers are preferred) and 
helpful in interaction with
surgeons. NP's are Highly respected by physicians and residents. 
Diverse and challenging
patient mix. Strong management team with low turnover. Compensation 
will be between
$75-95k with a comprehensive benefit package. Full relocation 
expenses are covered!
