CLINICIAN I

DESCRIPTION:
In this position, you will provide quality patient care including 
exams, treatment, education,
and counseling for patients; serve as a medical resource for licensed 
and non-licensed staff;
and oversee/maintain responsibility for nursing services. Duties 
include prescribing and
fitting contraceptives, counseling clients on reproductive health 
issues, diagnosing and
treating infections and STIs in both female and male patients, 
conducting microscopic
studies of patient samples, performing venipuncture and other blood 
work, and conducting
examinations of post-abortion clients.

REQUIREMENTS:
The qualified candidate will be a registered Nurse Practitioner 
(specialty in women's
healthcare preferred), or a Certified Nurse Midwife or Physician 
Assistant. You will bring
California Clinician licensure and CPR card (or ability to obtain 
within 60 days of employment);
Windows/Internet proficiency, with ability to adapt to electronic 
management of patient
information as well as new changes in technology; superior customer 
service skills; ability to
efficiently care for at least 3-4 patients per hour; and a commitment 
to the goals and
philosophy of Planned Parenthood.
