US Oncology, the nation's largest healthcare 
network dedicated exclusively to quality cancer
care and research, has an exciting career 
opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner
with proven skills in leadership and program development.

As Director of Non Physician Practitioner 
Services, you will direct and manage all programs
related to approximately 160 non-physician 
practitioners within the US Oncology network
including training, recruiting, best practices, 
peer interaction, survivorship and advance care
planning.

Responsibilities will include:
* Creates and maintains best practice tools and 
materials for use by Non-Physician Providers
aimed at achieving high quality and efficiency.
* Acts as Program Manager survivorship program within the network. ·
* Acts as Program Manager for the Advanced Care 
Planning program within the network.
* Creates and maintains training programs for 
Non-Physician Providers as well as training
programs for Physicians utilization of Non-Physician Providers.
* Creates virtual peer group of Non-Physician 
Providers including periodic conference calls
and meetings.
* Provides support for practices for interviewing 
prospective NPP candidates; develops tools
for evaluation of candidates.
* Participates in the development of Patient 
Education materials for use by network clinicians.

To qualify, you must be a graduate of an 
accredited Nurse Practitioner program and have
current state licensure and certifications in 
field. Prefer a minimum of 8-10 years of experience
as NP. Must also be able to travel by car or 
plane to network practices in multiple states
approximately 80% of the time.
