About Us:
The American Institute of Gastric Banding (AIGB)

Lap-Band procedure.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Bariatrics

The Job:
We are growing rapidly! Currently we have 
immediate openings for a PA or NP at our
Richardson surgery center and corporate 
headquarters. This is an opportunity to be involved
in all aspects of care of bariatric Lap-Band patients.

Job Description:
Responsibilities include adjustments to the 
Lap-Band via a mediport long term follow-up
teaching and patient management, pre-operative 
consultations including history, physical
exams and diagnostic testing and program development.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have strong clinical 
skills, an affinity for procedures, an interest in
health education and an ability to communicate 
with a diverse patient population. A background
in critical-care, special procedures or radiology 
is preferred, but we are willing to train those
motivated to care for our patient population. 
Must be BLS and ACLS certified within 30 days of
employment.
