SUMMARY:
* Assess physical, developmental, and psychosocial health status of 
patients through the
collection of health data such as comprehensive history taking, 
physical examination.
Assisting patients to maintain current level of health and prevent 
further illness through health
screening, identification of risk factors, and counseling.
* Diagnosing and managing acute episodic health problems, as well as 
chronic health
problems-foot care, pap tests and other women's health, knowledgeable 
in care of the elderly
with simple complaints, and procedures such as laceration repair.
* Actively works to solve problems/improve systems in constructive 
thorough manner.
* Focus on customer needs and quality of service. Makes appropriate 
and timely referrals,
participates in problem solving of consumer complaints.
* Demonstrates caring and friendly attitude toward patients.
* Prescribing medication and ordering other non-pharmacological therapies.
* Demonstrates current technical skills in all areas of practice.
* Supports cooperative clinical initiatives. Seeks appropriate and 
timely consultations.
* Referrals to external providers are consistent with protocols. 
Orders lab, pharmacy, radiology,
and special tests appropriately.
* Provides positive, constructive leadership for his/her care team 
and within deptartment -
encourages others to achieve high level of performance
* Involves patient in management of care; is thorough in 
explanations. Fulfills all duties as
assigned by chief and department. Maintains a productive work 
schedule; meets department
and organizational productivity guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Graduate of accredited School of Nursing Program; Graduate of 
accredited ARNP program.
* Strong customer service skills; Intermediate computer skills.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSURE:
* Current WA State RN License.
* ARNP w/prescription authority (WA State).
* Eligible for prescriptive authority-must achieve within 6 months of 
employment date.
