Connecticut - Family Nurse Practitioner Positions (posted) 01-09-07

Hiring Nurse Practitioners

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners with
prescriptive authority to independently operate Minor
Care Clinics within a retail pharmacy setting. We
have Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities
in the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacies throughout the
United States. We have immediate needs
for NPs in IN, OH, IL, CT, NY, and NJ.

As the Nurse Practitioner on site, you will
provide high-quality, compassionate care to
patients on a walk-in basis. These Clinics have
been developed by MindGent Healthcare
Services and Cardinal Health, the largest
healthcare company in the country (#17 of the
Fortune 500). Our goal is to offer the *premier* minor care clinic in the U.S.

Why these Care Clinics are the wave of the future:
Convenient - Patients are seen immediately in a
friendly setting rather than waiting for a
physician appointment or sitting in an emergency room.

Compassionate – Our Nurse Practitioners place an
emphasis on evidence-based medicine
and written clinical protocols to insure the
highest quality of care is provided to the patients.

Cost effective – Most insurance carriers,
including Anthem, Sagamore, Cigna, and United
Healthcare offer lower co-pays for Minor Care
Clinic visits, and all patients can expect
significant savings over an urgent care or
doctor’s office visit. Our clinics will handle a variety
of minor medical issues and provide community education such as:

* Sore throat / flu symptoms / ear infections / etc.
* Vaccinations
* Patient profile 2 years old to geriatric
* Sports & School Physicals
* After-Care Advice
* Minor Injury Care
* Wellness Screening

Why this is the ideal position for a Nurse Practitioner:
* No on-site Doctor --The Nurse Practitioner runs
the clinic (Collaborating Physician available
for consultation)
* You have the opportunity to help select the
other Nurse Practitioner(s) for your practice
* You schedule your own hours and there are no late evening hours!
* You are able to provide education in addition
to healthcare services to all patients
* You are recognized as the primary healthcare
advisor – you play an important part in the
community!
* You are eligible for a quarterly bonus in
addition to a competitive base salary
* We provide a comprehensive benefits package,
including health / life / dental / vision, 401K,
CE opportunities, and malpractice insurance
* This is a highly desirable position on the
cutting edge of quality healthcare!

Please share this letter with other Nurse
Practitioners and call me directly if interested in
learning more about this opportunity!
