Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Trauma Services

As San Diego County's busiest trauma center, Scripps Mercy Hospital 
cares for over 2,400
critically injured adults per year. Our trauma service offers the 
city's preeminent trauma
prevention education program, research and graduate medical education 
in trauma and
critical care. In February 2007, we are opening a new unit dedicated 
to the care of the trauma
patient.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is a natural leader and 
desires to be part of a
team to serve our community with the highest quality care. This 
challenging clinical
environment provides an excellent framework for professional growth. 
Our ideal candidate
will possess superior critical thinking and clinical skills and be 
capable of conducting high
level assessment and intervention for the adult trauma patient population.

Experience/Specialized Skills:
* Minimum 2 years recent critical care experience
* MSN
* Ca NP License
* Ca RN License
* ACNP preferred.
* Furnishing number required within 1 year of hire
* Experience with trauma patients in ED or critical care preferred
* Requires working scheduled weekends and holidays.
