Community Health Care, a leading non-profit organization in Tacoma, 
is seeking an
experienced and highly qualified Nurse Practitioner or PA-C, to join 
our family practice clinics
in the Tacoma area. This is a full-time position which involves 
working with patients of all
ages. The Nurse Practitioner/PA-C performs a variety of activities 
such as: treating acute and
chronic illnesses, identifying physical and emotional needs of the 
patient and family, and
planning the delivery of health services to meet these identified 
needs. Candidates must be
eligible to carry malpractice insurance, possess current Washington 
State licenses for either
a PA-C, or RN and ARNP with prescribing authority, and must have 
graduated from an
approved family practice/nurse practitioner or PA-C program. The 
candidate must also have a
minimum of 2 years experience as an ARNP or PA-C involved in direct 
patient care and basic
knowledge of methods and practices of medical examinations, diagnosis 
and treatment,
particularly pertaining to ambulatory medical care. Preferably, the 
candidate will be bilingual
in Spanish and English and have experience in Community Health and 
Managed Care.
