Nurse Practitioner-Vascular Center Maryland General Hospital

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing an advanced level 
of comprehensive
healthcare to a specific patient population under limited supervision 
and in collaboration with
medical staff. Patients served include adults and older adults 
suffering from vascular related
conditions and require education and treatment.

Conducts comprehensive or episodic assessments of patients to include 
histories and
physical examinations, pre-surgical workups and surgical clearance 
for patients.

Utilizes data obtained from history and physical examinations, 
laboratory tests and diagnostic
procedures to develop and implement individualized care plans with 
patients/families based
on diagnosis, patient care/age specific needs and patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree with completion of accredited Nurse 
Practitioner program required.
- Current license or eligibility as a Nurse Practitioner.
- 2 years acute care experience
