NURSE PRACTITIONER
Inpatient Rehab Unit
Full or Part-time

In the newly created role of Nurse Practitioner on our inpatient 
rehab unit, you will be
responsible for:
* Providing patient services under the supervision of the Medical Director
* Participating in daily rounds and weekly team meetings
* Planning and implementing rehabilitative care
* Prescribing necessary treatment and services
* Taking patient histories
* Conducting physical examinations
* Updating patient records
* Ordering and scheduling laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures
* Reporting progress to the supervising physician
* Participating in scientific and clinical research projects

Qualified candidates must have completed an accredited nurse 
practitioner program. We
also require licensure from the State of North Carolina. You should 
also have excellent
organizational and communication skills.
