Level I regional and pediatric trauma center is 
proud to be on the leading edge of medical
advancement. As Central Pennsylvania’s only 
academic medical center, and home to Penn
State Children’s Hospital, we are looked to as a 
resource for the most complex adult and
pediatric cases. We utilize the services of our 
nurse practitioners throughout the medical
center and our entire system in a variety of specialty settings.

Nurse practitioners desiring personal and 
professional growth will be able to achieve both
as a member of our health professions team. The 
following departments currently have
opportunities:

- Family Practice Clinics
- Internal Medicine
- Orthopaedics Services
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Pediatrics
- Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

A Master’s Degree in Nursing with two years RN 
experience, one year NP experience, (which
may include a 1-year clinical student practicum), 
and PA state nursing licensure (or eligibility)
required. Certification in the area of 
specialization is preferred. Must have effective consultation
skills. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
