ACUTE CARE NURSE PRACTITIONERS (ACNP)
Stroke Program
Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center
Hartford, Connecticut

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center invites you to join their 
multidisciplinary stroke
program. Working with two other APRNs who report directly to the 
Stroke Center Medical
Director, you'll assist in patient management and charting, assist in 
the TIA and Stroke
Clinics, participate in daily stroke rounds, and manage the stroke 
database and nursing
education components for JCAHO certification. In 2006, Saint Francis 
Hospital and Medical
Center was named a "Top 50" acute care hospital for quality and 
safety by the Leapfrog
Group and a CareScience Select Practice National Quality Leader by 
excelling in overall
hospital quality and efficiency.

Qualified candidates must be certified as an acute care nurse 
practitioner and licensed in CT
as an APRN. Some weekend coverage is required and night call is on a 
rotating basis.
