OB /GYN Nurse Practitioner

Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center (BGSMC), a Magnet-designated hospital in
downtown Phoenix, Arizona, has offered care to the community since 
1911 and is a flagship
hospital within Banner Health. Nearly 1,700 physicians representing 
more than 50 specialties
work with Banner Good Samaritan staff to care for more than 36,000 
inpatients a year.
BGSMC is a teaching hospital that trains more than 220 physicians 
annually and a premier
medical center in Arizona and the Southwest. It provides a 
comprehensive foundation of
major programs and an equally impressive offering of highly 
specialized programs not
available in most hospitals. BGSMC currently has an opening for a 
Nurse Practitioner in the
Women's Health Center located on the Banner Good Samaritan campus.

The Women's Center, resident-faculty practice provides high-quality 
and comprehensive
health care to women patients, education to medical students, 
resident teaching and
participates in research projects. The OB/GYN department at BGSMC is 
in the top fifty (50)
departments in the USA.

Requirements:
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Arizona; current Nurse 
Practitioner certification in Arizona
* A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
* Demonstrated computer proficiency
* Two or more years of experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology
* Professional demeanor and effective interpersonal/communication 
skills are necessary to
interface extensively with faculty, residents, and different levels 
of training medical
students
* Leadership training and experience very desirable
