Nurse Practitioner Supervisor - Hospital Internal Medicine

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, invites you to consider a rewarding 
career as a Nurse
Practitioner Supervisor in Hospital Internal Medicine. The supervisor 
will be responsible for
the overall management and coordination of NP functions within HIM. 
You'll take part in
assessing the environment, forecasting trends, communicating values 
and ideas, coaching
and mentoring others, and managing resources. In addition to 
supervisory responsibilities,
you will work collaboratively with the consultant staff to deliver 
medical care to hospitalized
patients, with a focus on primary care for complex medical patients 
and consulting on
orthopedic surgical patients and post-operative management of medical 
comorbidities.

Qualified candidates must have a master's degree from an accredited 
NP program, current
Minnesota RN license and ACNP, ANP or FNP certification. BLS 
certification required. At least
5 years' experience in the care of medical and/or surgical inpatients 
and previous
management experience preferred.
