Come join Group Health's dedicated Behavioral Health Services team in 
addressing the
needs and increasing the quality of life of our patients. Our team 
collaborates in an out-patient
setting to provide a broad range of services including medication 
management, psychotherapy,
clinical care management and group interventions. Psychiatric Nurses 
partner with other
clinicians to tailor care plans for high utilizer patients. Our 
office is open Monday-Friday, normal
business hours, allowing employees to engage in valuable work while 
keeping a normal
schedule. The Psychiatric ARNP works in an outpatient group practice. 
Position requires
current skills in all areas of psychiatric practice including 
diagnostic evaluation, medication
management and follow up. Practitioner works collaboratively with 
other members of the
multidisciplinary behavioral health care team to provide mental 
health care.Use of electronic
medical records with clinical management tools supports prescriptive work.

Minimum: Previous Psychiatric Nursing experience.
Preferred: 5 years prescribing Psychiatric ARNP experience. Extensive 
psychiatric experience
in other than prescriptive role is highly desirable. A formal 
internship or fellowship in a mental
health setting outside of formal education.

Knowledge requirements
Minimum: Communication, problem-solving, leadership, and 
decision-making skills.
Computer literacy. Type 30 WPM. Able to lift 20 lbs and sit and use 
keyboard for extensive
periods of time.
Preferred: Understanding of GH or a managed care environment.

Education requirements
Minimum: Graduate of accredited ARNP program. Graduate of an 
accredited School of Nursing
program.
Preferred: None

Certification requirements
Minimum: Current Washington State RN license. Eligible for Washington 
State ARNP license.
Eligible for Prescriptive Authority within 6 months.
Preferred: Current unrestricted WA State ARNP Licensure and current 
Federal Issued DEA
Certification. Prescriptive Authority and competency for all 
psychiatric medications including
Schedule II. ANCC Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in 
Mental Health and/or
successful completion of a formal education and training 
specialization in psychiatric nursing
in RN/MSN program.
