Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/ Administrator Oncology Los Angeles

Los Angeles Children's Hospital is looking for a candidate with a 
strong background in
oncology and also had a desire to impact the role of the Oncology 
Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner. The Care Manager Provides leadership for the cohort of 
expanded role RNs
(CMs, NPs, Nurse Coordinators) in the Center for Cancer and Blood 
Diseases, working with
the Center Nursing Administrator to assure quality care, compliance, 
and ongoing staff
development (50%). PNP/Care Manager has a clinical role in the LIFE 
Survivorship and
Transition Program (50%) providing nursing and medical services to 
long term survivors of
childhood cancer. Work autonomously as well as in collaboration with 
a variety of individuals
including an exceptional leader in the oncology field. You will enjoy 
the quality of life in
Southern California, close to beaches, culture, and outdoor activities.

Qualifications: Three years pediatric nursing experience required, 
hematology-oncology
strongly preferred. Experience in an academic, clinical research 
environment desirable.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Effective 
verbal and written
communication skills and excellent 
organizational/analytical/problem-solving skills required.
Bilingual (English-Spanish) fluency would be helpful.
