Piedmont Heart Institute

Nurse Practitioner needed for a large Cardiology Group located at 
Piedmont Hospital.
Cardiology experience with a strong clinical background required. 
This hospital-based
position will include responsibilities for admissions, dictations, 
and in-patient rounds for the
cardiology practice. Will also be responsible for providing coverage 
in the Stress Text Lab on
a rotating basis. Cardiology experience and an acute care background 
would be preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communications and customer service skills 
required. Must be a
strong team player, pay attention to details and have the ability to 
multitask. Computer literacy
required. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current 
GA license for Advanced
Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing. Provides nursing 
and medical services to
patients. Augments a physician's ability to provide medical services 
to patients. Assesses
diagnosis and treats patients within the scope of care defined by the 
Georgia State Nurse
Practice Act for Nurse Practitioners.

Hours to be covered will be based on the needs of the physician and 
the program.
