NP - Transplant

University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a 
full-time NP–Transplant to obtain
comprehensive health histories and perform 
complete physical examinations in the inpatient
and outpatient settings.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating 
with attending physician, interdisciplinary
team, consultants, and referring physician to 
formulate and implement comprehensive
treatment plans for transplant patients; 
initiating medical orders after patient evaluation to
include protocol specified diagnostic and 
treatment plans; and document ongoing evaluation
of patient's health status and response to 
diagnostic studies and interventions in the medical
record and the patient’s plan of care.

Qualified candidates will have completed a 
certified nurse practitioner or physician's
assistant program, be certified (or eligible) for 
certification as a nurse practitioner or physician
assistant and be licensed or eligible in the 
state of Minnesota. Previous experience in
transplantation is preferred.
