Maryland- Nurse Practitioner Position                   (posted) 08-05-09

A well known Maryland hospital with a 25-bed Level IIIB NICU needs 
additional NNPs to provide
patient care; provide staff education and attend high-risk deliveries 
(approximately 1,800
deliveries per year with about 430 admissions to the NICU annually). 
The NNPs also attend
weekly conferences and meetings, and occasionally give lectures. They 
provide care for Extreme
low weight infants. Some surgeries performed, but most babies are 
transported to a regional
referral center for most surgeries, including cardiovascular. The 
NNPs work 12 hour rotating
day/night shifts; staff 2 NNPs on at a time with a patient load of 
12-13 babies. They take a
multidisplinary approach with an emphasis on family centered care. 
Salary based upon
experience. WILL HIRE NEW GRADUATES!
