Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Full Time

North Colorado Medical Center, a Magnet Facility, has an opportunity 
for a Physician Assistant
or Nurse Practitioner at our Cardio Vascular Institute in Greeley, 
CO. Greeley is a beautiful
community of approximately 90,000 with a home town atmosphere. We 
have a desirable climate
and are located along the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies with 
easy access to a wide
variety of outdoor activities, approximately one hour from Denver. We 
are a non-profit healthcare
organization and our professionals are nationally recognized for 
excellence in myriad programs.

This position will provide coverage in the clinic and in the 
hospital. While in the clinic, the PA/NP
will be expected to diagnose and treat cardiovascular symptoms and 
treatments. In the hospital
setting, the PA/NP will assist with hospital admits, consults, 
follow-up care, discharge services
and treadmill supervision. This role will work under the supervision 
of the Cardiologist on-call
and will be expected to work one of every six weekends.

Requirements:
* Physician Assistant degree or Nurse Practitioner certification and 
a minimum of one year prior
experience, however, new grads will be considered
* Previous cardiovascular experience in both a clinic and hospital 
setting is preferred
* Must possess and maintain certifications in Basic Life Support 
(BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Advanced 
Burn  Life Support (ABLS),
or obtain these certifications shortly after hire
* Demonstrated competency in pacemaker interrogation and treadmill 
supervision also required,
or competency in these areas must be obtained within six months of hire

Please note: Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners providing 
services must be approved
by the Credentials Committee and be granted hospital privileges.
