FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR NNPS TO WORK IN A STATE WITH NO INCOME TAXES!! A
well known teaching hospital which US News recognizes as "ONE OF 
AMERICA'S BEST
CHILDREN'S HOSPITALS--RANKED IN ALL 10 SUBSPECIALTIES, ONE OF ONLY TEN
HOSPITALS EARNING THIS PRESTIGIOUS HONOR ROLE DESIGNATION!" It is the "largest
free standing Pediatric Hospital in the country" and is located in a 
major southern Texas
metropolitan area. The hospital is undergoing a hugh 2010 building 
initiative with expansion in
4 major areas. It currently has a 76 bed level III NICU and a 62 bed 
level II. Approximately 2900
neonatal patients are treated per year. All major subspecialties 
including cardiovascular are
represented. The NNPs are self scheduling and work 10 hr days and 16 
hr night shifts. NNPs
are mainly hired to do rotating shifts, but there is a need for NNPs 
to work primarily days as long
as they would be flexible to work nights if needed. The NNPs provide 
attendance at all high risk
deliveries; provide patient management and participate in transport. 
This is an academic setting
in which the NICU also is part of the Vermont Oxford studies. 
EXCELLENT SALARY BASED
UPON ALL NURSING EXPERIENCE!! GENEROUS RELOCATION ALLOWANCE!! WILL TRAIN
NEW MSN GRADUATES! MSN candidates preferred, but will consider experienced BSN
candidates who can be licensed, or who are already licensed in TX if 
they have significant
level III experience and plan to complete a MSN. NCC certification mandatory.
