Nurse Practitioner, Radiation Oncology

You possess a rare combination of education and expertise, with an
accredited Master's Degree in Nursing, certification as a Nurse
Practitioner and 3+ years of specific Radiation Oncology clinical
experience. Your effective communication and organizational skills, and
the ability to lead others toward the successful treatment of patients are
all the more impressive. And, your sound judgment and ability to improve
patients' access to quality care with your training and expertise make you
a valuable asset in any clinical setting. Your ability to support our
Radiation Oncology staff and department create an opportunity to take

JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Nurse Practitioner in our Radiation Oncology
department, you'll assist our team of radiation oncologists in providing
comprehensive, compassionate care to adult patients with various forms of
cancer (25+ patients per day on average). You'll join a world-class cancer
program fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons. You will be
performing histories and physicals, seeing patients under treatment and
those requiring follow-up care, and working directly with physicians,
staff, administration, patients and families to ensure quality care across
the continuum as an expert in Radiation Oncology. Your role will be
comprehensive and vital, including the development of plans of care from
assessment/diagnoses to collaboration with radiation oncologists and RNs,
and beyond. You'll also oversee the operational budget for the department
and perform other essential clinical and departmental duties as needed.
