NNPs NEEDED in Level I and level III units!! Two hospitals associated 
with a larger hospital
system have openings. One hospital has a Level I nursery with 30-45 
deliveries per month
which is moving to Level II status. This hospital needs a very 
experienced NNP who can
manage minimally ill infants and resuscitate and stabilize any babies 
under 36 weeks who
need to be transported to another facility. The NNP will also provide 
in service and education for
the nursing staff. Neonatologists will be available to follow the 
babies. 24-hour shifts. Since this
is a very quiet NICU setting (vents won't be added until there are at 
least 75 deliveries per
month), the NNP will need to rotate at least 2 weeks every 3 months 
to an affiliated Level III to
maintain necessary skill levels. The second hospital has a Level III 
NICU. MSN EXPERIENCED
CANDIDATES WITH PRESCRIPTIVE AUTHORITY ONLY. Salary will be based 
upon all nursing
experience; a complete benefits package with relocation allowance 
will be provided.
