Nurse Practitioner – Organ Transplant Program

Swedish is seeking 2 qualified Nurse 
Practitioners (ARNP) to join our prestigious and growing
Organ Transplant Program. Our goal is to provide 
24/7 inpatient coverage for abdominal organ
& liver disease patients. To meet that goal, we 
are looking to hire a day shift inpatient ARNP
(7am – 5pm) and an "on-call" ARNP covering nights 
(5pm – 7am) and weekends (24hrs).

The day shift ARNP will be responsible for 
admitting and discharging patients, participating in
interdisciplinary rounds, managing transplant 
patients and coordinating care with the
multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will 
be knowledgeable in outpatient Organ
Transplant Clinic functions and assisting in the 
Operating Room (willing to train).

The night shift/weekend ARNP will function from 
home, similar to being on call. The candidate
will be responsible for managing calls from 
donors, patients, and the Organ Procurement
Organization (OPO); will also communicate with 
appropriate surgeons and physicians to
determine medical suitability for 
transplantation. This person would be required to come into
the hospital if a patient requires admission during the evening hours.

Related work experience in transplantation, 
gastroenterology and/or critical care experience is
preferred.

These are regular, full-time, 1.0 FTE positions 
and eligible for our full suite of employee benefits,
