of geriatric patients, we have opportunities for Family and Adult 
Nurse Practitioners to work with
our dynamic ARNP/physician management team (Nursing Home Services).

In this position you will be part of a team that rounds on sub-acute, 
skilled, and long term care
nursing home residents. If you have ever thought of a career in 
geriatrics, this is a rewarding and
independent clinically challenging role.

Provide mid-level practitioner services to geriatric population in 
sub-acute skilled nursing facility
(SNF) stays and residential care. Perform in-depth physical 
assessment and management of
illnesses or conditions within the ARNP scope of practice and in 
collaboration with MD,
pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members. May diagnose 
and manage acute
episodic and chronic health problems independently.

Experience requirements: Geriatric RN clinical experience in acute 
and chronic health problems.
Prefer Geriatric or long-term care experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Knowledge requirements: Expanded prescriptive authority for Schedule 
II-IV medications.

Education requirements: Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited 
school of nursing

Certification requirements: Washington State RN and ARNP license. 
ANCC certification as
Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner or Geriatric 
Nurse Practitioner. Prescriptive
authority. BLS/CPR certification.
