Sometimes all it takes is one person who cares to make a positive 
difference in a young
person's life. The USF Physicians Group supports the not-for-profit 
faculty clinical practice of the
USF College of Medicine. Our Department of Pediatrics has a focus on 
correctional healthcare
delivery and is working with the Department of Juvenile Justice to 
provide quality care to
adolescents located in correctional facilities. We are currently 
seeking experienced Nurse
Practitioners to be responsible for providing supervision and 
leadership of our clinical team at
the DJJ facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
* Performs professional advanced nursing care according to 
established standards and practice
and the Florida Nurse Practice Act for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
* Develops, implements and oversees health and wellness program for 
the DJJ facilities.
* Participates in quality improvement efforts.

Job Requirements:
* Appropriate nursing degree (Master's level).
* Licensed by the State of Florida as an Advanced Registered Nurse 
Practitioner.
* Appropriate level of experience in specialty with knowledge and 
skills necessary to provide care
to patients.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience.
